Cumnock is located in East Ayrshire Scotland, UK. The above photograph was taken from Stepend Bing during the Edwardian / Victorian times and shows the town in the distance, in its past Cumnock was well know for its coal mining and textiles industry but most of that is gone now and now suffers from high unemployment, during its distant past William Wallace was said to have lived in the town for a period of time |
